Another study found that 63% of respondents reported being willing to pay more for an apartment or house if it was located in an area with good green spaces. There are other benefits to a great landscaping job as well &#8212; a well-maintained lawn has been shown to reduce allergens like ragweed.<\/p>\n<p>So, the question is not <em>whether<\/em> you should rework your yard, but <em>how<\/em> to rework your yard. Firstly, by doing your research and making sure that you aren&#8217;t planting any invasive species in your yard, you can save yourself a huge headache later in life. Also, if you plant native trees and plants, you will not have to water them as often; they will grow healthily, and they may even save you money on your energy bills, if they are placed accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hardscaping<\/strong><br \/>\nHardscaping refers to the hard landscape materials used to enhance an environment. This can include any paved areas, <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.borsellolandscaping.com\/gallery\/landscaping-2\">patios<\/a>, walkways, or retaining walls. Hardscaping, working in tandem with the landscaping, can create a truly stunning effect, both functionally and aesthetically, on your yard. It is worth it to plan according to your specific uses. If you have a lot of evening parties, maybe a large patio area around a fire pit will suffice &#8212; if you spend a lot of time reading in the afternoon, perhaps a small pond and a bench area are more up your alley.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lighting<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat use is any of your landscaping and hardscaping at night without some outdoor lighting? You&#8217;ll be surprised at how much more you use your outdoor living space if you could just see. After all, if there is one thing better than summer days, it&#8217;s summer nights.
